This apprenticeship is a flexible competence-based qualification and is delivered over a 12-15 month period and is aimed at individuals who have some or little experience of working in the retail sector. This role involves assisting customers when they purchase products and services, good understanding of the stock being sold and services that are provided, the ability to process payments. Within this role they can work in a variety of shops and other retail establishments. This programme is delivered in line with employer and recognised quality standards. Qualified tutors will work on site at the designated location agreed with both the employer and apprentices, to support them in developing their vocational skills.
